Amiri Joined Philly Free School in 2023, They’ve had experience with Catholic, Charter and Philadelphia Public school systems as a student, and ran a course focused on game design and tech literacy at the age of 16. They are thankful to see the Sudbury education model coming to their hometown of Philadelphia and hope to contribute to the community of PFS. Amiri has spent time as a 3D modeler, Game designer, Logo Designer and Activist. They truly believe that young people deserve to be given more agency over their education, and that a well maintained community can prepare them for the world better than any test.
